| AfroDreamFest Announces 2013 Launch And IndieGogo Campaign Afrodreamfest announces a takeoff of the first AfroDreamFest concert around May/June 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia. Afrodreamfest aims to celebrate Afro-fusion music by artistes based on the continent and in the diaspora. Plans are also on ground to have a Canada version. Exact date and venue TBD. Music lovers in the USA can now enjoy Afro-fusion music in jazz, soul, roots, acoustic, world, afrobeat genres beyond the chamber confines and on major mainstream live concert platforms. The event will also serve as a promotional platform for upcoming Afro-Indie artistes. About AfroDreamFest AfroDreamfest is keeping the legacy of AfroMusic alive, reminiscent yet unique, traditional yet contemporary, old-school yet relevant. There is a new wave of an AfroConscious Collective of Musicians all over the globe which the European audience is fully embracing and enjoying. The Mission of AfroDreamFest is to showcase Africa through this style of music in the Americas – presenting and promoting contemporary AfroFusion of Soul | Jazz | Folk | World | Acoustic | Roots and Afrobeat genres of music made by a collection of artists from Generations X Y and Z. AfroDreamFest will premiere in Atlanta, Georgia, USA towards the end of the first quarter of 2013.
