Drums - Live III Groove Night in Toronto

R.A. Brown Productions, an event production team specializing in presenting innovative events to serve the drum community in the Greater Toronto Area, is pleased to announce that Drums - Live III Groove Night in Toronto will be held on Saturday October 27th, 2007 at Canada Christian College. This year's concert headliners are Mark Kelso, Rob Brown and Paul Brochu.

Drums - Live! is an annual concert designed to entertain, inspire and educate drummers of all ages to continue to develop their craft. Recognizing that there was not another event of this nature within the GTA that promoted the development of the drumming community, led creator Rob Brown to form the unique format of the show. Now in it's third year, Drums - Live is being recognized as Toronto's premier annual drum show with the crowds getting larger every year. Three drum kits on the stage, three sets of music and an explosive grand finale involving all three drummers is what draws people out to this event. And while celebrating the art of drumming, the concert is also designed to showcase and support some of the best instrumental talent in Canada. So Drums - Live! is not just a show for drummers. It's a show created by musicians for musicians for anyone of any age that loves music.

This year they will also be holding a “Search for the Tastiest Groove” contest. The contest is open to young drummers between the ages of 12 and 16, where the entrants are required to submit an original and unique groove using only a snare, kick and set of hats. Entrants have the chance at winning $500 worth of drum gear, as well as the opportunity to perform at Drums - Live III. Details of the contest as well as the rules and regulations can be found on the official website.
