| French Quarter Festival - The Show Will Go On! French Quarter Festival, April 21 - 23, 2006, will take place as scheduled. A unanimous decision from the board of directors has determined that the 22-year old festival will take place in 2006. "We would like this festival to be a celebration of survival as well as a memorial for those we have lost" said Jon Stern, French Quarter Festival Board President. The French Quarter Festival is the essence of all that makes up New Orleans, good food, good music and a wonderful way to showcase the French Quarter .
