Seanodes Unveils Beta Test Program for Windows Server 2008

Seanodes has announced a Beta version of its Exanodes software for Microsoft Windows Server 2008, enabling these users to repurpose commoditized or existing hardware as an iSCSI SAN.

Seanodes' Exanodes software combined with Windows Server 2008 and standard commodity servers enables companies to build a highly reliable clustered iSCSI SAN. Exanodes supports a very large range of servers and disks, including SATA and SAS disks and even SSD. Exanodes provides extreme versatility when it comes to aggregating different kinds of servers and disks in a single storage pool, enabling investment protection as well as total hardware vendor independence and the ability to build an iSCSI array really tailored to fit a company's needs.

Exanodes allows fast rebuilds thanks to an intelligent, innovative approach that distributes the RAID set across multiple network nodes and minimizes the risk of a second disk failure during the rebuild window.

A Beta test program of Exanodes for Windows is beginning now. Companies interested in participating should visit seanodes.com and use the support contact form or email BetatestProgram@seanodes.com. Beta testers will be eligible for special licensing prices as future editions of Exanodes, including Shared Internal Storage, become available.
