| Teledata Networks Wins $21M Deal from Major Central Asian Telecommunications Company Teledata Networks has won a $21 million deal from a major Central Asian telecommunications company to enhance their existing infrastructure with Teledata Networks' BroadAccess-1000 MSAG. The systems will provide a mix of voice, broadband data and IPTV services over Next Generation IP Network. The deal takes place after successful past deployments of BroadAccess systems by the operator, providing hundreds of thousands of voice and broadband lines, operating over IP NGN. The new systems will be deployed in the next six months in both IP-DSLAM and IP-MSAG configurations and will include the resilient Ethernet transmission functionality. The BroadAccess-1000 systems will be installed in outdoor cabinets replacing existing distribution boxes to provide broadband services over shortened copper loops. This will implement network architecture optimized for advanced broadband data services and IPTV. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Networking News :: home page |
