TDG Implements Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On Solution

Imprivata announces that TDG has completed the implementation of Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On (SSO) to secure user access to applications and reduce its password management overheads. The company has enrolled 1,400 of its staff in the UK for single sign-on, and expects to make a saving of up to £8,000 per month by eliminating password reset requests.

TDG has an outsourced IT helpdesk that is responsible for helping employees with any issue they are facing, including forgotten passwords. However, the volume of calls that were being placed around reset requests was becoming a significant cost to the business. Peter Ratcliffe, IT Customer Services Manager for TDG wanted to remove these password reset calls and reduce overall costs. Working with Imprivata partner Logicalis, he decided that OneSign Single Sign-On would meet the needs of the business.

Employees at TDG now benefit from simpler access to applications, and don't have to remember their passwords. All log-ins can be changed in the background, and automatically meet the company's rules on character number, password structure and overall strength of the credential.
