| Sybase iAnywhere Unveils SQL Anywhere 11 Beta Sybase iAnywhere has announced the beta availability of "Panorama", code-name for the next release of SQL Anywhere, its data management and synchronization solution. Over 200 new features have been added to SQL Anywhere that further enhance its leadership in enabling frontline database applications. Today, SQL Anywhere powers thousands of embedded and mobile database applications with over 10 million deployed licenses. SQL Anywhere innovation continues to provide improved performance, reliability, scalability and functionality to applications ranging from workgroup and branch office systems to mobile applications used by sales people and service technicians. SQL Anywhere version 11 includes over 200 new features and enhancements based on extensive feedback from embedded partners and customers. As a key component of the Sybase Unwired Enterprise strategy of managing and mobilizing information anywhere, anytime, SQL Anywhere continues to provide new and innovative functionality in the delivery of information beyond the traditional data center.
