| Powerwave Offers NetWay Manager 3.1 The NetWay Manager 3.1 is the second release of Powerwave's network operation & maintenance platform, NetWay Manager 3.0, that was launched earlier in 2007. This new release includes several new features as well as adding our public safety repeater system to the line up of Powerwave products managed by NetWay Manager platform. NetWay Manager 3.1 incorporates new features such as Server redundancy and Linux or Windows server support. NetWay Manager is an SNMP-based platform that centrally and remotely monitors and manages critical network interconnected controlled devices, that will include Powerwave's complete line-up of products. Powerwave is committed to develop new releases of the NetWay Manager to incorporate all current and future Powerwave products as well as to enhance the feature set to the benefit of our customers. The NetWay Manager platform features fault management for real-time error detection, complete configuration and inventory management functionality, performance management and secure system administration and is based on open standards for easy integration with multiple operating systems and other vendors' SNMP enabled devices. The NetWay Manager platform provides network operators with a number of time-saving features, such as easy installation, configuration, auto-discovery of network components and an upgraded user-friendly graphical user interface. NetWay Manager also provides network operators with several distinct advantages, including the ability to supervise more than 10,000 network elements, server clustering support with load balancing functionality and remote client access. The NetWay Manager platform also features remote software downloading, network data collection, network configuration and configuration back-up capabilities.
