| Pingtel Releases SIPxchange 3.8 Enterprise Communications Server Pingtel, a Bluesocket company, has announced the release of version 3.8 of the company's SIPxchange ECS open source VoIP solution. This new version extends Pingtel's plug-and-play management system that allows customers to seamlessly manage SIP components, such as phones and gateways from a variety of vendors. SIPxchange 3.8 enhances administrator and end-user management interfaces to deliver industry leading ease-of-use and simplified deployment. A new end-user portal adds interactive voicemail management, real-time call reporting phone directory and speed dial configuration, as well as find-me/follow-me forwarding capabilities, all delivered to the user's finger tips. Also, SIPxchange 3.8 adds plug-and-play management for AudioCodes media gateways and LG-Nortel SIP phones.
