PCTEL Exhibits at WiMAX World 2007 Expo

PCTEL will demonstrate its broad portfolio of WiMAX software and antenna products at the WiMAX World 2007 Expo in Chicago, IL September 25-27.

PCTEL will demonstrate its multi-mode Roaming Client software solution which unifies devices and technology platforms. Designed to deliver value to the enterprise, as well as service providers, PCTEL's market leading Roaming Client incorporates WiMAX technology into its service offering. PCTEL's Roaming Client integrated with WiMAX leverages all the features of PCTEL's traditional Roaming Client such as security, authentication and updates through the Central Configuration Server. PCTEL's Roaming Client also supports mobile WiMAX (WiBRO) available for trials to certain carriers, notably in Korea.

PCTEL will also demonstrate its complete line of WiMAX antenna products. The product portfolio supports the full range of WiMAX frequencies deployed around the globe. PCTEL's antennas support Point to Point and Point to Multi-Point applications and offer sector panel, omni-directional, directional panel and parabolic implementations. PCTEL also provides sophisticated GPS timing antennas which are essential for most broadband wireless systems including WiMAX.

PCTEL's Roaming Client – Voice Enabled (VE) IMS solution has been in worldwide carrier trials for the past 18 months. The company's ability to develop a standards-based client is optimizing integration by unifying applications and enabling interoperability. This cost effective solution has the ability to link applications to the mobile user, providing seamless connectivity over multiple networks such as WiMAX, Wi-Fi and cellular.

PCTEL's Roaming Client-VE IMS solution is supported on Windows Mobile 5 and 6 (PDA and SmartPhone), BREW/REX, Symbian Series 60 and Symbian UIQ. This integrated solution leverages 802.1x as well as other software modules deployed by carriers. In addition to supporting access, presence and location-enabled communication, the Voice Enabled IMS solution is supported by PCTEL's Central Configuration Server's compliance and update services.
