NetQoS Appoints Three Executives to Champion Customer and Partner Relations

Rapid customer growth, increasing year-over-year revenues, expanding partner opportunities, and innovative product development have led NetQoS to appoint three executives to build upon the company's customer care, partner relations, and software development organisations. Gene Trammell has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO), Andrew McFarland has been named vice president of customer care, and Eddie Jennings has been promoted to vice president of software engineering.

As the former vice president of customer care, Gene Trammell oversaw the company's successful customer relations programs, which earned the highest customer satisfaction ratings ever seen by an independent research firm in both 2005 and 2007. In his new role as COO, Trammell will manage the operational policies and procedures for the company and oversee cross-departmental functions such as employee training, travel, and recruiting. Additionally, he will provide executive stewardship of all NetQoS partner-related activities. This includes oversight of all internal operations dedicated to NetQoS' recent integration with Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) WAN optimisation devices for enhanced performance reporting.

Andrew McFarland has been hired to replace Gene Trammell as vice president of customer care and will lead the NetQoS Account Management and Customer Support organisations. His primary responsibilities will be to continue the outstanding support and quality counsel NetQoS customers have come to expect. In addition, he will expand the company's efforts to help customers meet their network performance management challenges by making full use of the NetQoS Performance Center product suite.

Eddie Jennings has been appointed to the role of vice president of software engineering. As a director leading the NetQoS software engineering organisation since 2002, Jennings spearheaded the development of quality and timely network performance management products to help meet customer demands. In his new role, he will manage the software development organisation's expansion as it scales to new product initiatives and future partnership deals. Part of this expansion includes the NetQoS Voice over IP (VoIP) product development group in Raleigh, North Carolina, as it adds capabilities to the company's recently announced VoIP Monitor product catalogue. Two new directors of software engineering will report to Jennings, one in the company's Austin headquarters and one in Raleigh.
