| telent and Frequentis Join Forces telent has announced an alliance with Vienna-based Frequentis, a specialist in communication and information systems for safety-critical areas. The agreement between the companies, signed at the BAPCO conference and exhibition in London, forms the basis of a joint business development programme in the UK. The alliance combines Frequentis' expertise as a supplier of communication and information systems to the air traffic control, public safety, maritime and railway sectors, with telent's experience of providing communications support services to telecommunications operators, large enterprises and public sector agencies, including the emergency services. Frequentis and telent have already worked together to deliver the first phase of an integrated communications control service for the London Metropolitan Police Service.
