| ADI Releases MeshLink Gateway for Roamad Wireless Networks ADI Engineering and RoamAD have announced immediate availability of MeshLink, the new dual-radio, tri-band fixed residential gateway for RoamAD metro Wi-Fi networks. Key features of MeshLink include: - Flexible Tri-Band, Dual-Radio Support - MeshLink offers a completely flexible choice of high-power 2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz and 5 GHz radios both in its link to the citywide network and its integrated indoor access point; - Secure Over-the-Air Firmware Upgradeability – Service providers can securely and automatically rollout new gateway features and firmware updates; - Up to 8 BSSIDs on the Indoor WLAN - Allows creation of multiple virtual access points each with individual security and QoS policies, providing optimal support for multiple types of client devices and classes of service; - Manageability – MeshLink integrates seamlessly with RoamAD citywide Wi-Fi and 4.9GHz public safety networks. It is provisioned, monitored and controlled by RoamAD's web-based management platform; - Plug and Play – MeshLink is managed by the service provider for a plug and play user experience. ADI offers private labeling of MeshLink in production volumes for service providers and OEMs. The open, modular and radio agnostic architecture of MeshLink enables flexible configuration of RF technologies to meet the unique requirements of each application, while providing a path for service providers to rapidly deploy emerging RF technologies. MeshLink is FCC certified, CE marked, and RoHS compliant to enable use in the EU.
