| Omera Licenses RoamAD's Wireless Platform for Muni Wi-Fi RoamAD and Omera announce Omera has licensed RoamAD's wireless networking platform enabling it to create its own network solution for the fast-growing muni Wi-Fi market. Under the multi-million dollar deal, RoamAD's software will power OmeraMesh, Omera's new turnkey infrastructure-mesh Wi-Fi solution, that it will supply to North American municipalities and campuses. Omera will also fund the deployment of OmeraMesh citywide Wi-Fi networks in cities and towns that meet Omera's investment criteria for a public private partnership. The Omera business model will accelerate the deployment of citywide Wi-Fi networks, allowing cities to enjoy the economic benefits of Omera's multi-application wireless networks without the time, costs and uncertainty of a lengthy RFP process.
