Devon IT has announced the availability of the DIT 6040A thin client terminal. The DIT 6040A thin client terminal is designed to be a cost-effective alternative to standard PCs. These ICA and RDP capable thin client terminals are quickly gaining market share because of their low price and ability to access a wide variety of application and data through multiple protocols. The DIT 6040A thin client terminal delivers reliability, security, and performance features. The operating system software also provides the latest multimedia and web browsing capabilities and contains extensive device support.

Features of the DIT 6040A thin client terminal include:
- Easy-to-use Graphical User Interface (GUI);
- Displays Windows desktops, web browsers, and applications from multi-user Windows 2000 and Microsoft Server 2003;
- Available with Devon Terminal Operating System (DeTOS);
- RDP, ICA Capable;
- Available with Ericom PowerTerm LTC, No Machine NX, VNC, Tarantella and SSH clients;
- Displays UNIX and Linux X Windows applications;
- Full multimedia support with 6 USB, 1 Serial, 2 PS/2, 1 VGA, and 1 Parallel ports;
- VIA Eden 400 MHz processor, 64 MB RAM, 128 DOM Flash;
