Array Networks Launches Version 8.0 SSL VPN Software

Array Networks has announced the availability of its new Version 8.0 SSL VPN software. Version 8.0 simplifies configuration, deployment, and management for IT personnel, and enables companies to easily customize end-user portals based on customer preference.

As SSL VPN technology continues to rapidly grow, so does the need for simplified management tools in order to achieve fast and easy deployment. Array's new Portal Theme feature uniquely allows companies to design end-user portals for different user groups using graphical layouts and icons for ease of use, and reduced end user complexity. Version 8.0 meets this need by providing customers with a new, state-of-the-art GUI management system that offers administrators a user interface that is intuitive and easy to use.

Array's Version 8.0 also includes a number of other important features in addition to the new WebUI and Portal Themes. It incorporates new Hardware Security Modules, making the SPX3000 and 5000 systems fully compliant with FIPS 140-2 at Level 2. Version 8.0 also supports AES encryption (both 128-bit and 256-bit), enhancements in Network Admission Control, authentication, layer 3 VPN connectivity options, and expanded language options.

Companies of various sizes around the world are rapidly deploying SSL VPNs for remote access. Array Networks is the first and only vendor to announce availability of SSL VPN technology to address site-to-site access, thus providing a complete end-to-end SSL VPN solution. Version 8.0 software is immediately available on all SPX series systems - the SPX2000i, 2000, 3000 and 5000.
