LandMark Media Launches NetJaxer 2.0

LandMark Media announces the release of NetJaxer 2.0. NetJaxer is a free and easy way to integrate Web 2.0 applications right into Windows. NetJaxer combines a categorized and searchable web directory of 100’s of Web 2.0 that works hand in hand with a free small piece of software you download to your computer’s desktop. NetJaxer 2.0 integrates Web 2.0 sites such as Gmail, TadaList, Digg, Writely, Kiko, Meebo, and other sites into Windows so users can easily access them. Just point and click to add the Web 2.0 sites you use the most. Users can create desktop, tray and quick launch icons and use those applications with NetJaxer’s custom browser.

The NetJaxer directory is updated regularly so users never have to spend hours searching for the latest Web 2.0 applications. Users can also rate and comment on Web 2.0 applications they have recently used so other NetJaxer users can best choose what suits them.

Web 2.0 is a simple way for internet users to use computer applications directly on the world wide web that were once only available in software suites like Microsoft Office. A few of these Web 2.0 sites include: Writely which allows users to do word processing on the web instead of having a word processing program installed on their computer, Meebo, a site that allows users to login to a variety of instant messenger platforms right from the web, iOutliner which lets users create to-do lists and project outlines, as well the popular Gmail, a web based email site that lets users manage their email online instead of running a desktop mail program. NetJaxer lets users integrate these programs as well as many other Web 2.0 programs right into Windows so they can be easily accessed with a click of a mouse.
