| OCP Issues 1510nm Optical Supervisory Channel SFP Transceiver Optical Communications Products has announced the availability of its 1510nm Optical Supervisory Channel SFP transceiver for FE/OC3/STM-1, low speed 50-155Mbd, OSC applications for use in WDM systems. The "TRPA03E2ZB" Optical Supervisory Channel SFP transceiver utilises a highly sensitive APD receiver and also provides integrated digital diagnostics monitoring functionality via an I2C serial interface as described in the MSA document, SFF-8472 (Rev 9.4). The DFB laser used in this SFP transceiver features an integrated optical isolator for stable transmitter operation under the varying back-reflection conditions that exist in installed cable plants.
