| Edge-Core Announces Wi-Fi Phone for Skype Edge-Core has announced the availability of its new 802.11b/g Wi-Fi phone that utilizes Skype software. The mobile phone comes with Skype Internet communications software, and offers great voice quality and mobility. The WM4201 Edge-Core Wi-Fi phone for Skype offers all of the Skype calling features, along with an IEEE 802.11b/g wireless connection and candy bar shaped design to help users reduce communication costs and move at the same time. In addition to the availability of standard SkypeIn, SkypeOut, and Skype Voicemail features, the WM4201 also comes with Wireless Multi-Media to improve voice quality and WPA/WPA2-PSK for secure wireless connectivity. To help users easily set up their home networks, Edge-Core offers a specially designed Wireless Cradle Access Point (model: WA4101-CAP), which charges the Wi-Fi phone and provides access to the user's wireless network.
