| GE Security Introduces New Ethernet Module  GE Security has introduced a new module designed to further expand the capabilities of the Phoenix fiber optic transport system. The new Phoenix A8911ETH Ethernet Module provides Ethernet connectivity to the Phoenix Fiber Transport System. These modules are suited for transporting IP-data and IP-video traffic between Phoenix nodes. The Ethernet module has three RJ-45 ports designed to insert or extract full-duplex 10/100BASE-T Ethernet data onto the Phoenix network. The A8911ETH module allows for Auto-Negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X selection.splitrerThe module’s integrated Ethernet switch features line-rate switching between the three ports and 50Mbps throughput between Phoenix nodes.
