| Belkin Launches OmniView Secure KVM Switch Belkin’s OmniView Secure KVM Switch keeps classified and unclassified computers separate and secure at all times, and prevents data transfer among them. This solution lets government users control multiple USB computers from a single USB console, while ensuring the integrity of their data. The Secure KVM Switch is listed by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP), and is pending NIAP Common Criteria validation to EAL 4. The Switch will ship in North America in late August, with launches in Asia, Europe, and Australia to follow shortly. The Secure KVM Switch features a dedicated processor per computer port to keep each computer separate and secure. There is no memory buffer or data-storage capability, making it impossible for keystrokes and other data to unintentionally transfer as you switch between computers. Belkin’s Secure KVM Switch is the only secure USB KVM switch designed especially for VGA computers and monitors. It provides full support for all USB keyboards and mice and supports the highest video resolution in its class. A rugged, metal enclosure and compact design allows for desktop or 1U rack-mountable installation. Additional Features: - Features no hot keys or on-screen display to prevent data from being stored on KVM Switch - Non-reprogrammable firmware prevents tampering with KVM logic - Circuits soldered directly to circuit board prevents tampering with components - LED indicators provide easy identification of which computer is being accessed - Supports high video resolutions of up to 1920x1440 @ 75Hz. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Networking News :: home page |
