| Bud Brown Joins Northwire Bud Brown has joined Northwire, Inc. as director of new business development. Brown is an industry veteran, with 27 years in electronics — 14 of them in machine vision. Before joining Northwire, Brown was general manager of Intercon 1, a premier producer of camera cable and assemblies in the United States. Intercon 1 is a division of Nortech Systems, Inc., specializing in machine vision technology. Prior to that, Brown was a sales manager with Zercom Corporation, now also part of Nortech Systems, Inc. and a vice president with Ji-Haw Industrial Co., Ltd. He also held sales or marketing positions with Deco Electronics and Hirose Electric U.S.A., Inc., a connector manufacturer in Simi Valley, Calif. Brown began his career as a technical training coordinator with Force Electronics, a specialty distributor of interconnectors, located in Inglewood, (southern) California.
