| AXIOMTEK Launches SBC8A818 Network Application Board AXIOMTEK launches a network application board, the SBC8A818. This board comes with a Socket 479 low power Intel Pentium M and Intel Celeron M processors and integrated the most updated Intel 3100 chipset and built-in a PCI-express interfaces. It makes the platform offered a more reliable and stable processing over previous platforms. The network application board SBC8A818 fulfills high performance system configuration demands in network applications, industrial server appliances, or other network attachment storage appliances with advanced storage features. It supports different by-pass levels with this feature such as power, BIOS boot, OS and application program failures. The SBC8A818 has powerful storage interface, multiple SATA-150 channels are easily compatible with embedded Operating Systems and third-party application programs through DOM (Disk on Module) or CompactFlash. One Mini-PCI slot is available for expansion. And one PCI-X 64-bit/133MHz slot is optional for customers selection. The SBC8A818 can operate in environments from 0° C (-32° F) to 60°C (140°F). I/O features include RS-232, ATA-100, six SATA I channels and two USB 2.0 ports. The SBC8A818 also offers an optional powerful enclosure, which features management functions, including BIOS redirection to console port and more.
