| Ceragon Networks Expands FibeAir 1500P Native IP Capabilities Ceragon Networks Ltd. has announced the availability of FibeAir 1500P enhanced Fast Ethernet capabilities for wireless transmission with fiber-like quality. Ceragon's field-proven FibeAir 1500P with its IP solutions has enhanced its Ethernet line with full throughput capacities of 50 to 200 Mbps. This native Ethernet solution with ultra-low latency is optimized for IP-based applications, including IP-DSLAM connectivity for Triple Play services, WiMAX and WiFi-mesh backhauling solutions and any delay sensitive applications. The FibeAir 1500P Ethernet solutions have already been successfully installed for numerous customers and are commercially available. With software upgradeable capacities from 50 to 200 Mbps per radio carrier, FibeAir 1500P's carrier class solution provides a licensable pay as you grow, scaleable migration path to meet the increasing demand by operators for data-rich services. Ceragon's Fast Ethernet capabilities maximize an operator's Ethernet throughput capacity with dynamic bandwidth allocation between native Ethernet transmission and PDH ports delivering true wire-speed Ethernet. Traffic integrity is guaranteed with Ceragon's built-in Quality of Service (QoS) controls for different classes of service including VLAN priority (802.1p) and DiffServ/IP TOS values. Operating in the frequency range of 6-38 GHz, Fast Ethernet modules support a variety of modulation schemes, including QPSK, 16, 32, 128, 256 QAM, and configuration schemes, including 1+0, 1+1, East-West, XPIC, Diversity, and 2+0 in a single 1U IDU. The system can be deployed outdoors in a split-mount installation or all-indoors. Ceragon's new Fast Ethernet solution suite consists of hot-swappable modules for the FibeAir 1500P indoor unit providing high-capacity Fast-Ethernet wireless transmission. Each Fast Ethernet module can contain 2 x FE ports, or 2 x FE with 8 x E1/DS1 ports over one radio carrier, for a total of 400 Mbps, 4 x FE and 16 x E1/DS1 in a single 1U unit.
