| Advantech Launches EDG-4100W and EDG-4110W  The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the EDG-4100W and EDG-4110W, serial to wireless 802.11b boards for enabling wireless networking. Their 54 x 59 mm compact design can fit into almost any legacy OEM serial device and connect it to the wireless Ethernet world. Virtual COMport mapping is provided by both modules for convenient communications with the host PC through an 802.11b wireless network.
