| Applied Innovation's AIremote RTP Release 2.0 is Available Applied Innovation Inc. has announced the availability of AIremote RTP Release 2.0. AIremote RTP is a key component of the Applied Innovation (AI) Wireless Quality Monitoring solution, which complements other Remote Site Management solutions offered by AI. The solution provides service providers with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used to monitor wireless subscriber Quality of Experience (QoE). This is achieved by emulating and measuring the subscriber 'experience' of delivered CDMA, 1x and EV-DO voice and data services. Operations personnel can use these results to address performance degradation and RF transmission inefficiencies. Any metric that violates internal Service Level Agreement objectives can be alarmed and alerts sent via SNMP to network management systems and/or SMS to technicians. The solution also feeds 'upstream' Service Quality Management systems for regional and national visibility. QoE metrics including throughput, connection attempts and latency can be measured by collecting data directly from cell sites or critical business locations and heavy traffic locales such as airports, shopping malls and sporting arenas.
