| Version 7.5 of The Vericept 360 Degree Risk Management Platform Vericept Corporation has announced the availability of version 7.5 of The Vericept 360 Degree Risk Management Platform. The enhanced solution includes new features and capabilities designed to provide additional reporting, data management and investigation management tools delivering maximum protection to enterprise customers. The Vericept 360 Degree Risk Management Platform is the only content monitoring and filtering solution that enables corporations and organizations to gain complete visibility into all insider risk and controls violations before they occur. With 360 Degree visibility across the entire network, Vericept passively analyzes data-in-motion and data-at-rest to help identify and control potential compliance violations, intellectual property theft, customer data loss, insider hacker activity, Internet abuse and other insider risk. New Features of Version 7.5 of The Vericept 360 Degree Risk Management Platform include: * Highlighting - Version 7.5 highlights which violations are occurring by accenting keywords and phrases in communications and attachments on the Event Detail Screen. Information such as Social Security Numbers, Credit Card Information, PHI or NPI can be evaluated quickly, linking directly to the violation. * Risk Dashboard with Risk Frames - Utilizing portlet technologies, Vericept provides a Risk Dashboard which gives an overall view of the monitoring status, noting which categories have the highest event occurrences, what users are violating policy the most, etc. Risk Frames provide a graphical view of these usage pattern events over time. * Risk Reports - 7.5 has built-in Risk Report templates. By providing this feature within the product, Vericept helps eliminate the need for third-party reporting tools which reduces overall operating costs. * Ad-hoc Reporting - 7.5 allows users to develop and save ad-hoc queries to search for violations meeting specific criteria without needing a third-party reporting tool. Ad-hoc reports can be created using any available metadata, including any of Vericept's pre-defined Risk Categories and these reports can be saved and edited at any time. Reports can also be exported as an html, PDF or CSV formatted document and emailed to others for review. * Single Sign-on - To alleviate the administration of signing onto each piece of hardware every time an administrative change is needed, users can now sign on once and make changes on any device. This eliminates the need to maintain the same login ID on multiple platforms and all changes and updates to user definitions occur in a single user management database maintained by the console/standalone environment. * Content Analysis Description Language (CANDL) - The Vericept Intelligent Content Control Engine now has a language (CANDL) to help further define monitoring rule sets for specific client needs. CANDL extends the capabilities of the Category Designer by allowing more specific criteria to be included within the rule definition. * New Risk Categories - Version 7.5 introduces eight new Risk Categories to aid users in easily identifying threat risks including, Health Level (HL7) which is a standard in the healthcare industry used for storing and interchanging clinical and administrative data. HL7 messages contain patient data that is used to indicate/change the patient's status. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Networking News :: home page |
