| New network management solution Huawei Technologies announced the successful testing of a PLUG-IN interface developed by Vallent Corporation to integrate Vallent's performance management solution and Huawei's EMS system (iManager M2000) for mobile network devices. The iManager M2000 is a wireless network management system used to manage Huawei WCDMA, CDMA2000 and GSM mobile communication networks. iManager M2000 is used for the operation and maintenance of subnets and can manage the access network, core network and other networking products separately or on a unified basis. It manages Huawei's mobile network equipment for broadband and next generation networks, such as Msoftx3000 and BSC. Vallent's performance management product is an out of the box solution that offers support for a wide range of network elements and comes with a standard set of performance management reports. NPR is used to forecast performance trends and predict the effects of network change.
