Sayers joins InfoExpress alliance program

Sayers, a value-added provider of technology products and services, and InfoExpress, the leader in network access control solutions, today announced they have formed a partnership to deliver InfoExpress' solutions to Sayers' customers. Based in Chicago, Sayers provides a wide range of technology products and services in healthcare, financial services and other market segments. It was founded and is led by football legend Gale Sayers.

By deploying the CyberGatekeeper network access control and CyberArmor endpoint firewall solutions, Sayers' customers can significantly reduce their networks' risks from computer vulnerabilities and misconfigured and non- compliant endpoint systems.

"Endpoint security policy enforcement is a major concern for our customers, especially those in financial services and healthcare, where trust is paramount, " said John Kasser, vice president for Internet and Security Services at Sayers. "Most of our customers experienced some level of network outage resulting from end-user machines spreading trojans and worms on to their network. The CyberGatekeeper solution provides an easy-to-deploy, third- party agnostic, and pervasive approach to network access control, which is unique in the industry."

"Sayers is one of the most highly respected technology VARs in the country, " said Todd Nakano, executive vice president at InfoExpress. "With their large national customer base and expert knowledge of the IT security solutions space, we expect that Sayers will accelerate the deployment of InfoExpress' industry-leading CyberGatekeeper solution."

The InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper network access control solution uses an organization's existing network infrastructure to block network access to wired, wireless and remote endpoint devices that fail to comply with corporate-mandated security policies, including outdated, unauthorized, misconfigured or missing security utilities, such as anti-virus programs and personal firewalls. Non-compliant systems are quarantined and remedied before being allowed access to the network, ensuring that viruses, worms, trojans and other malware and vulnerabilities cannot adversely affect the network through PCs, laptops, PDAs and other devices that fail to comply with current security policies.

The appointment of Sayers adds further momentum to InfoExpress' growing number of top-tier channel partners. InfoExpress has a channel presence on six continents. InfoExpress Channel Alliance Partner members receive comprehensive training from InfoExpress to increase their value by strengthening their expertise in endpoint security, and have the opportunity to deepen customer relationships, increase endpoint security revenue and receive one of the highest reseller margins in the industry.
