Ceragon Networks and Nokia sign OEM Agreement

Ceragon Networks Ltd.,http://www.ceragon.com,a global provider of high-capacity broadband wireless systems, today announced that it signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Nokia, a world leader in mobile communications.

Under the agreement, Nokia will include Ceragon's high-capacity FibeAir family with its microwave radio product portfolio as Nokia PowerHopper Vario to provide complete cellular transmission networking solutions. This OEM agreement is the outcome of several years of successful integration of Ceragon's SDH radio products into Nokia's global transmission solutions.

"Nokia's decision to strengthen its relationship with Ceragon reflects the rising demand for high-capacity radio solutions, " said Ira Palti President and CEO, Ceragon Networks Ltd. "We are confident that our industry-proven SDH radios will add value to Nokia's portfolio and help deliver a complete solution to their customer base. This agreement with Nokia is a significant step towards globally promoting our state-of-the-art FibeAir family of products."

Ceragon's FibeAir products are perfectly suited to answer the growing demand for 3G converged networks that provide data-rich applications and services requiring high-capacity backhaul solutions.
