HiSoft, Ensemble and Teksen announce merger completion

Three leading providers of IT outsourcing and Enterprise Business Application consultancies -- HiSoft, Ensemble and Teksen -- have completed a merger. The merger will bring these three major firms into a single company under the name of HiSoft, China's largest and leading IT outsourcing service firm providing comprehensive technology platform services.

This major milestone marks the first significant consolidation move in the IT services sector in China, it also indicates that China's IT service sector is entering a new phase of development, both through organic growth and strategic mergers. HiSoft will continue to lead the IT services industry by taking on a defining role as a global Chinese player. HiSoft, the first Chinese software company to pass a company wide CMM Level 5 assessment, was selected as the first Global Development Center for GE in China. Ensemble International is a leading provider for offshore software testing and globalization services in China and Asian Pacific region. Teksen Systems, an experienced Enterprise Solutions consultancy firm with proven implementation methodology, is a leading Oracle partner with a successful track record in implementing Oracle eBusiness Applications suite. The merger of the three leading companies in each field creates an all-inclusive platform providing a full range of services in enterprise solutions, solution consulting, system implementation, application development, maintenance and support, software testing and software localization. The merged company will have geographical coverage and offices in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong), North America (Atlanta), and Japan (Tokyo, Osaka), with a combined strength of 1, 800 professionals.

After the merger, Mr. Sun and Mr. Wong will become the CEOs of HiSoft's Testing & Globalization Business Group and its Enterprise Solutions Group, respectively.
