Dedicated to Ubuntu Music founder Martin Hummel, The Happy Worrier is a reflection on a deeply personal journey by one of the Netherlands' most intruiging talents. Out on June 27, 2025 Following his win of the Brubeck Living Legacy Prize, Rietkerk composed a deeply personal and cinematic body of work that reflects both vulnerability and quiet strength. Rietkerk's sound world blends folk-inspired melodies, jazz improvisation, and a strong sense of space and restraint.
