"Live and Let Die" - by Queen Mary The Artist - from the Music For Secret Agents series presented by Jaymz Bee

In honour of International Women's Month, Vesuvius Music is thrilled to release three singles by powerhouse female vocalists, including Queen Mary The Artist's electrifying interpretation of Live and Let Die, originally written by Paul and Linda McCartney for the 1973 James Bond film. This latest release is part of Jaymz Bee's Music for Secret Agents series, a project highlighting iconic songs from the world of spy and espionage-themed music. The track, arranged and produced by Jono Grant at Victory Drive Studios, brings a fresh take to this classic with Queen Mary's signature vocal style.

ABOUT QUEEN MARY

Queen Mary The Artist (formerly Queen Pepper) has been a fixture in Toronto's live music scene for years. With a voice that moves effortlessly between husky warmth and soaring highs, she brings energy and character to every performance. A regular at DROM Taberna, she has also performed at the Toronto Jazz Festival, Beaches Jazz Festival, and with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra.

Raised in Rockton, Ontario, Queen Mary's musical journey began in church and school choirs, later leading her to study vocal jazz at Mohawk College and the University of Toronto. Her 2019 album, True Stories Vol. 1, reflects her love for 80s and 90s R&B, soul, funk, and gospel. She is currently working on a new solo album.
