| CAROL GREEN, A MAJOR FORCE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, PASSES AWAY Carol Green, the Chair of the Redwood Entertainment group of companies passed away on March 20th at the age of 63. She was born on Nov. 10, 1960 in Westbury, New York and grew up as part of a family very much involved in show business. Her father Jack L. Green was an influential executive at the Willard Alexander Agency and ICM, was involved in bringing the Beatles to the United States and fostering the British Invasion of the 1960s. Carol attended Lincoln Square Academy and studied at Studio and Forum of Stage Design. She began in the music industry by working with the Metropolitan Opera in the 1970s. A lifelong resident of New York, she was involved with the Dr. Pepper Music Festival in Central Park and several major rock venues including the Underground, Heartbreak, The Ritz, and the Red Zone (Zona Rosa). She worked with Ron Delsener Productions, organizing concerts and developing into a manager. In 1983 Carol Green co-founded Redwood Entertainment, Inc. with her sister Janet Castiel. Under her guidance the company, which also included Redwood Music International LLC and Redwood Music Publishing, Inc, offered show business marketing, personal management and representation, public relations, radio promotion, and produced entertainment shows. She worked with the who's who of entertainment, leaders in the music and entertainment industry, and knew government officials, heads of state, presidents, and kings. She was involved in a countless number of projects through the years. Her passing leaves a large hole in the entertainment world.
