| Sound Liberation Trio @ Nublu On February 25th at 7:30pm, Composers Concordance presents The Sound Liberation Trio, with Gene Pritsker - guitar, Adam Holzman - moog/synth and David Cossin - drums in a program of eclectic trio compositions. Joining the trio in this performance are trumpeter Franz Hackl and trombonist Dick Griffin as well as poets Imelda O'Reilly, Erik T. Johnson, Robert C. Ford, John Pietaro and Jim Kempner. The group will perform Gene Pritsker's and Adma Holzman's compositions for the trio instrumentation combined with modern poetry as well as compositions by Jan Hammer, Carman Moore and Dick Griffin. Featured compositions include the premiere of Gene Prisket's three-movement suite 'Some Nature Not Human Might Do Us Some Good' and 'Do I Look Like I Need Cheering Up?' by Adam Holzman.
