| New Music Visage Music // The Kiss - Rise and Fall of Salomè - Monica Pinto & Salvio Vassallo "The Kiss - Rise and Fall of Salomè" marks the return to collaboration between singer-songwriter Monica Pinto and musician and producer Salvio Vassallo, who after years of joint work within the Neapolitan group Spaccanapoli, of which Monica Pinto was a co-founder and lead singer: Today they realize together a recording project in which elements of traditional Campanian music are fused with a contemporary musical language, thus maintaining a continuity with their originating band. However, in this work, all the songs are original and the traditional element, which is also enriched with hints of ancient music, combines with the use of unique electronic sounds and sonorities, constructed and manipulated, also starting from acoustic sounds.
