| Nicole Zuraitis new single and nomination! Following a GRAMMY nomination for their arrangement of Dolly Parton's Jolene, Nicole Zuraitis and Dan Pugach team up again for the release of Travel on January 5th, the second single from the upcoming Dan Pugach Big Band album Bianca (3/8). Travel is a musical setting of a poem by Edna St. Vincent Millay, written by Nicole Zuraitis, from her album How Love Begins which is nominated for Best Jazz Vocal Album in the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. Praised as a "supreme talent and first-rate songwriter, powerhouse vocalist and grade-A pianist" by All About Jazz, Nicole Zuraitis is loved by audiences all over the world for her relatable and emotionally-compelling songs, sophisticated arrangements, and rich voice. Co-produced by jazz giant Christian McBride and featuring all of Zuraitis' original music, How Love Begins is her sixth album, and brings forth her second career GRAMMY nomination. *How Love Begins* spent 4 months in the top 20 on the Jazz Week Radio Charts, streaming on Sirius XM radio with features on NPR/Sirius XM Jazz Inspired with Judy Carmichael and Jazz Night in America. About Nicole Nicole Zuraitis is a 2X GRAMMY-nominated jazz singer-songwriter, pianist and arranger, vocalist for the Birdland Big Band and winner of the prestigious 2021 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medal.
