Deborah Silver partners with most successful arrangers on hit recordings in history.

Silver's latest endeavor is an interpretation of one of the best-selling artists in history, Taylor Swift. Silver's chart successes as a jazz singer have long been peppered with nods to her roots and her latest is a prime example.

Silver turns up the heat to make "Shake It Off" swing like never before, with legendary arranger Charles Calello conducting what is perhaps the biggest band to which this classic tune has ever been treated.

If you've heard Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" or Eric Carmen's "All By Myself " or Bruce Springsteen's epic "Jungleland" from the album Born to Run, then you know the handiwork of this brilliant arranger.

Listening to the radio, it is hard to miss an arrangement by Charles "The Hit Man" Calello who is recognized as being one of the most successful arrangers on hit recordings in history.

In an illustrious six-decade career, he has composed iconic arrangements and recorded with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Barbra Streisand, Laura Nyro, Barry Manilow, and many more legendary artists, including the successful launch of The Four Seasons with Frankie Valli.

The legendary Quincy Jones has raved about Deborah Silver - the Mississippi born, two-time #1 Billboard chart-topping vocalist - by saying "her strong and sultry vocals are seductive and soul soothing. Her talent and beauty are equally extraordinary. Whatever she sings she owns, making every note matter! One listen and you know…she is the real deal."

Deborah has had a string of hit duets with celebrated artists including Bill Medley (Righteous Brothers), Jack Jones, Ronnie Millsap, Pam Tillis, Freddy Cole, Ann Hampton Callaway, and Ray Benson (Asleep at the Wheel). Her upcoming releases include duets with superstars Tony Orlando, Steve Tyrell and Jazz icon Diane Schuur. Currently she is recording a full album with The Count Basie Orchestra.
Her album, Glitter & Grits - produced by Ray Benson - features musicians from Asleep at the Wheel, his multi-Grammy award winning band, currently celebrating their fifty-second anniversary. Glitter & Grits reinforces Silver's versatility, as she takes audiences on a journey from jazz to the unique Western swing style all while bringing the songs to life in a dynamically uplifting way.

Glitter & Grits was voted Broadway World›s Best Commercial Recording, landed the #1 spot on both Traditional Jazz and Western Swing Charts, and crossed over to become #3 on the Weekly Top 50 Country Album Chart. Veteran Critic Rex Reed wrote this in reaction to the album: "Tired of rock and allergic to country and western, I find the shock of what Deborah Silver has done - to distill the essence of both musical genres into a fresh cocktail of combustible joy - both a surprise and a thrill. The result is unique and flavorful entertainment guaranteed to put a happy smile on every face at a time when the world needs one most. What a treat! Hard to explain, but easy to love."
After taking many years off from touring to focus on raising her children, Deborah came back with a bang! Her album, The Gold Standards, produced by Steve Tyrell with stunning arrangements by Alan Broadbent, was an out-of-the-box smash skyrocketing to #1 on both the Billboard Traditional Jazz Album and #1 on the Billboard Heatseeker Album chart as well as the #2 spot on the overall Billboard Jazz Album chart. Her EP - Sunny Side - is an Amazon Jazz Best Seller.

Deborah is also an inspiration to women everywhere seeking to restart their careers after taking time away to raise their families. Her epic return to the music industry proves that anything can be overcome. Thus, her mantra #NeverTooLate.

Her sold-out stage performances in clubs, concert venues, and with symphony orchestras are reminiscent of the golden and glamorous era of Las Vegas. Deborah has dazzled at countless clubs and performing arts centers around the country, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, Blues Alley, Feinstein's 54 Below, Catalina Jazz Club, The Colony's Royal Room and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
Deborah's recorded work and stage performances receive - to no one's surprise - consistently rave reviews. According to Rex Reed of The New York Observer, "When Deborah Silver takes over a mic, she doesn't just visit the stage, she owns it! Trust me. With beauty, style, talent, swinging musical savvy and a bundle of pazazz, Deborah Silver's got it all in one package. She's a thrill, a swinging show-biz whirlwind...and a bargain at any price!"

Deborah looks to not only inspire with her back story, but with her everyday actions as well. Typical of her philanthropic nature, Deborah recorded her album, Pure Silver, a stellar collection of standards and pop favorites, to raise funds for ALS research. She continues to honor that charitable commitment by donating 100 percent of all proceeds from album sales to help those suffering with the disease. She also donated all first week sales of The Gold Standards to various charities including, but not limited to, United Way, Semper Fi Fund (supporting injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces) NASCAR Victory Junction Gang Camp (for children with serious medical conditions) and ALS research, in honor of her sister who was diagnosed with the vicious disease.

Along with her daughter, Deborah began a charitable worldwide movement titled SLAM ALS to continue the support for a cure. While recovering from the COVID-19 virus, Deborah teamed up with 12 x Grammy nominee, Dennis Lambert to write the song "COVID-19 Blues" to raise funds for both the Actors Fund and the Jazz Foundation of America, in order to help those suffering due to the pandemic.
