She's toured in 35 countries and worked/recorded with several renown and diverse jazz artists ranging from Randy Brecker, Paul Motian, Mick Goodrick, Roy Hargrove, Tom Harrell, Richie Beirach and John Abercrombie to Dave Douglas, Fred Hersch, Kenny Werner, Louis Cole, Jane Bunnett, Anthony Braxton and Wadada Leo Smith. A Fairfield, CT native, Baum has performed in CT over the years at many prominent venues including Lloyd's, The Levitt Pavillion, The Fairfield Theater Company, The Wilton Public Library, Firehouse 12, 880 Jazz Club, Silvermine Tavern, The Hillside…and The Side Door! On September 29th, she returns with her new Quartet featuring some of the brightest stars on the NYC scene. Having debuted at NYC's infamous and intimate Mezzrow Jazz Club to an enthusiastic audience, the Quartet is excited to bring a mix of originals and uniquely-arranged standards to the Side Door on September 29th.
