Mike Rocket Single "I'm Dreaming of a Better World" at The Triad NYC on October 28th.

The new single by Mike Rocket "I'm Dreaming of a Better World" is an awakening song with a search for a more positive world. On the motivation and creation of the song, Mike wrote: "I began writing 'I'm Dreaming of a Better World' as a poem in 2011 around the time of the 'Occupy' movement. I wanted to include my knowledge and passion for history and concern for equality and justice into a song. I decided to expand on the ideas of 'Imagine' and 'We Are The World' and include the visions of some of the great world activists. During a couple of vocal lessons around 2012, legendary vocal coach Katie Agresta helped me with the vocal melody and lyrics. I began recording the current version in 2018. Thomas Hutchings has tirelessly helped me over the past 5 years to produce the current version which we are launching with a celebration concert at the Triad Theater on Saturday, October 28.
