David Amram is a veritable icon of music, worldwide. At 92, he has composed the scores of "The Manchurian Candidate", "Splendor in the Grass", was the first composer in residence with the NY Philharmonic under Leonard Bernstein. He continues performing around the world. To learn more, check out his website, DavidAmram.com. He'll be joined by Adam Amram on congas and percussion, Rene Hart on bass, and Kevin Twig will join in on drums and glockenspiel!

Just a few press quotes will give you the idea:

"David Amram is the Renaissance Man of American Music."

(The Boston Globe)

"If you have not yet encountered this extraordinary man of music, you will marvel at his multiple gifts as a composer, conductor and solo instrumentalist."

(Bob Sherman, New York Times)

"David Amram ... a musical catalyst and leader on a par with Leonard Bernstein, Pete Seeger and Dizzy Gillespie."

(Minneapolis Star & Tribune)

David is bringing this group of friends to entertain and enlighten us on the farmhouse lawn, as tribute to Bobolink, the folks who named a cheese after him. As with all of our music shows, we'll be selling a farm-to-fork picnic to enjoy, made with ingredients sourced from our farm and our local food shed.

Reserve through the Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse website, cowsoutside.com
