| Jazz to Celebrate Art Sunday, November 6th 2:30 to 5pm! SUNY Orange Middletown, NY Come to SUNY Orange to celebrate on Sunday, November 6 from 2:30 to 5pm! Join us for a wonderful afternoon filled with the Arts as the Chris Parker Trio plays at the Art Reception for Art for the Sake of Us All!, an eclectic show. All of the selections of music for the afternoon are original compositions by award-winning composer Chris Parker, pianist, who will be accompanied by superb musicians, bassist Tony Marino and drummer/percussionist Marko Marcinko. The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in parking lot #1 which is adjacent to Orange Hall. GPS: 24 Grandview Ave, Middletown. Building doors leading directly to the gallery face the parking lot. Those plus the main doors will be open. Spacious Orange Hall Gallery is the venue for this large eclectic exhibit entitled Art for the Sake of Us All!, an eclectic show. A variety of very different artworks comprise the 115 works by 36 artists. Media include pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oils, reverse glass paintings, wood, marble, and hydro-cal, and metals sculptures, ceramics, pen & ink and pencil drawings, etchings, monoprints, and photographs.
