In a long tradition of singing for justice and peace, four musician friends draw on songs from America's deep-rooted folk protest movements that included Pete Seeger, Earl Robinson, Leadbelly and many others. Come sing along with these distinguished singer/multi-instrumentalists, who will gather to perform in the West Yard. Hubby Jenkins, of The Carolina Chocolate Drops and Rhiannon Giddens band, is a Grammy Award nominated multi-instrumentalist. Joy Jan Jones, a performer, writer and teacher, sings with Opera on Tap, Oratorio Society of New York, and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Songwriter/Actress Allison Kelly plays a variety of instruments and performs in Ring of Fire, Almost Heaven, and many other theater shows, on television and in commercials.
