| JULY 14–16 ROSA PASSOS AND HER QUARTET Appearing @ Dizzy's Club Rosa Passos, the great Brazilian singer, has a pristine, delicate voice, and she puts it to spellbinding use… She sang a number of sumptuous ballads in such a way that their melodies seemed lighted from within. She also flirted with samba, adopting a translucently airy cadence.
