We have compiled a collection of poetry and prose written by the literary artists who have performed for One Breath Rising, each of whom has been recognized for their contributions to the full American story. This book will be loved by readers who like storytelling, poetry, family history, aspiring writers' autobiographical stories, African-American literature, and students of contemporary American literature.
