| Official Launch of Nine-PM Records with Anthony Gonzalez! Based in Miami Beach, Anthony Gonzalez is an accomplished music business executive with over 40 years of experience in the music industry, with a proven background, extensive knowledge and expertise of artists & repertoire. Deeply passionate about music and with a profound love for Jazz, he is often consulted for his extensive music catalog knowledge and deep expertise of music recording artists & repertoire. His career has been highlighted from its commencement through a perpetual journey of working extensively in the music genres of R&B/Soul, Latin music and Jazz. Early in his career, as a trumpet player and working musician, he had the opportunity and privilege to share the stage with numerous recording artists and musicians. His career continued to evolve which led to his position as record store owner, major retail-chain music buyer and as an executive with BMG Music Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment. Anthony is credited for producing well over two-thousand special music projects, compilations, re-issues, greatest hits collections and historical music pieces including classic packages featuring: "Tito Puente / Quatro – The Definitive Collection", "Ricky Martin / 17", "Celia Cruz / The Absolute Collection", "The Roots of Popular Music": The Ralph S. Peer Story and the music CD component to the PBS music documentary "Latin Music USA". Anthony currently manages Latin Grammy Award Winner and Multi-Grammy Nominee flautist Nestor Torres. Very well regarded and respected, Anthony's established background, experience and sensitivity to working with virtuoso and high-profile artists was a natural transition into the role of Artist Manager. He also currently serves as a consultant, and his clients have included Sony Music, Peer Music Publishing and SEFLIN (Southeast Florida Library Information Network). Anthony is an active voting member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) and LARAS (Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences). He actively serves in the Grammy U mentoring program and remains a very dedicated and committed advocate for furthering music programs and art in the education system as a means and conduit to higher education. Anthony now officially launches his own jazz music label "Nine-PM Records". It is digitally distributed through The Orchard (Sony Music Entertainment). "Nine-PM Records is dedicated to the genre of Jazz, from traditional to neo-contemporary and all the sub-genres of Jazz.
