| GARY LUCAS'S TRIBUTE TO JEFF BUCKLEY This May 29th marks the 25th anniversary of the tragic passing of Gary Lucas's friend and collaborator JEFF BUCKLEY. Lucas and Buckley co-wrote the opening two songs of Jeff Buckley's double platinum "GRACE" album- "Mojo Pin" and the title song "Grace". "Grace" the album has frequently been cited as one of the Top 50 Greatest Albums of All Time in various music polls internationally, and "Grace" their song was recently named One of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time by Rolling Stone Magazine. This year acclaimed guitarist, songwriter and composer GARY LUCAS is giving a series of Tribute Concerts to Jeff Buckley worldwide in honour of his late partner. Just announced: On Saturday June 4th, Gary will present his tribute to Jeff Buckley at the Jazz Club Tonne in Dresden Germany, a city and club he's performed in numerous times. Special guest vocalists TBA. Also just announced: Gary will present his NYC Tribute to Jeff Buckley on Thursday July 28th at The Cutting Room in Manhattan, with direct from Roma his special guest Italian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist FRANCESCO ARPINO.
