| Healdsburg Jazz presents Mike Clark & Lenny White this Sunday, March 27! This online presentation hosted by drummer Mike Clark will be a freewheeling conversation with fellow drum icon Lenny White who recorded with Miles Davis, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, and Jaco Pastorius, to name a few. They will share a half-century of stories and recordings from his journey through music, rhythm, and life. Mike Clark is on hundreds of recordings himself and has recorded with some of the most celebrated artists in the history of music including Herbie Hancock and The Headhunters in the 1970s. Mike Clark gained worldwide recognition as one of America's foremost jazz and funk drummers. His incisive playing on Hancock's "Actual Proof" garnered him an international cult following and influenced generations of drummers. While Mike digs the funk, he considers jazz his first love, and playing that music is what he says feeds his soul.
