CHRIS ROGERS 60th BIRTHDAY BASH! w/ special guest INGRID JENSEN SUNDAY! DEC 5th 9:30 PM @ The Triad

Jazz trumpeter/composer CHRIS ROGERS will be celebrating his 60th birthday weekend in style this Sunday, December 5th - premiering his latest modern-jazz orginals while also featuring a very special guest soloist, the critically acclaimed INGRID JENSEN - in a rarely heard two-trumpet frontline! This unique performance will double as an 'album pre-release' party and a birthday celebration! Chris is thrilled to be 'locking horns' with fellow trumpeter Jensen and will be joined by bandmates Mike Holober on piano, bassist Jay Anderson and drummer Steve Johns! Please consider coming out and helping us celebrate!

Since the early 1980's Chris Rogers has been a featured trumpet soloist with Gerry Mulligan, Mongo Santamaria, The Mingus Big Band, Buddy Rich, Hilton Ruiz, Bob Moses, Eddie Palmieri, Chaka Khan, Arturo O'Farrill, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Ray Barretto & New World Spirit, Mel Lewis & The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Maria Schneider, Tom Harrell's Big Band, and many more.
