In 1998 I started doing recording projects and the process continues. This current CD is my second recording with Tony Monaco and first with Hendrik Meurkens. We all became fast friends and really had fun for the two days of recording. Tony, Hendrik and my go−to guitar player Mark Lucas brought originals to play. With my partner Jay Dudt at Audible Images keeping a watchful eye on things, I couldn't be happier with the results. I really enjoyed making music with these fine musicians. I think you will enjoy the results of our fun. —REID HOYSON

''It seems that every other jazz legend is from Pittsburgh. Errol Garner, Ray Brown, Art Blakey and too many others to mention. So recording a jazz album here has a special vibe to it, at least for me. Reid and Mark are Pittsburgh bred and they are the perfect match for Tony and his B3. I first met Tony in Jakarta during the Java Jazz Festival. Tony was holding court at the Bar of the hotel where all the musicians stayed. They had jam sessions every night and Tony was the leader who kicked off the proceedings. I always wanted to record with him, I love his earthy style, he is the real deal, a hard hitting jazz organ player who lays down a fat and fuzzy groove. And the Pittsburgh guys know just what to do. I love this album. You can't go wrong with this kind of rhythm section.''
—HENDRIK MEURKENS

I am so excited about this release! I received a call from my friend and great drummer Reid Hoyson to record a project with my long time friend Hendrik Meurkens on Harmonica. Over the years Hendrik and I have played sets together at some major Jazz festivals Like Java Jazz in Indonesia and Vail Jazz Festival in Colorado and we always hit great together. So doing this was exciting to say the least. Guitarist Mark Lucas also had worked with me on a CD we did with the late Richie Cole! I want to thank Reid for his exceptional playing and asking me to lead this project! I know once you start listening, you'll get lost in some very creative and beautiful Music!!!! —God Bless, TONY MONACO
